Did my first sprint in 2005- but really training since 2006

Sporting background: Competitive swimmer from age 6-12 years, grew up downhill skiing, spent a lot of my 20's in the mountains doing various outdoor activities from hiking to climbing to backcountry skiing

Why I do triathlon: First of all I can’t sit still, I love to train and fill my day up with things to do that are active and I want to inspire people who say they have no time for anything!! I’ll show them how to squeeze it in!!

Triathlon Accomplishments:

  • First Olympic Distance, Salmon Arm Classic 2007 & 2008- 1st Female 2007, 2nd Female 2008
  • 1st Half Ironman 2007- Sylvan Lake ½, 3rd Female 25-29 Age Group
  • 1st Ironman was Ironman Canada 2008- 6th 25-29 Age group
  • Ironman Brazil 2009- 2nd 30-34 Age Group
  • Ironman Canada 2009 6th 30-34 Age Group
  • Ironman World Championships 2009 Finisher

Triathlon Goals: To one day race pro and to inspire ordinary people to do extraordinary things with hard work and patience!! I also want to tell the world what a great coach Sara Gross is!!
