Well, what can I say about Julie! In my fourth year of triathlon, I decided to do my 1st full iron distance event. Wanting to do things the right way, I acquired Julie as my coach. As a lead up to Challenge Penticton, Julie prepped me for 3 big 70.3 races: Ironman St. George Utah, Oliver BC, and Ironman Calgary (which also happened to be a qualifying race for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Mt. Tremblant, QB). The end result is nothing short of impressive: a 13:24 finish at Challenge Penticton, followed by a successful finish at the World Championship in Quebec. Although I could tell you about all the warm and fuzzy qualities about Julie, and there are many, my success over this past year is a direct reflection on her capacity as a coach. So, the question shouldn't be "who's YOUR coach?" rather, the question should be "why isn't it Julie Anderson?
